The now extremely rare original BBR Turbo was supplied and fitted by Mazda UK as on option. It is based on a standard 1600cc MX-5 and approximately 850 units were sold through the UK dealer network between November 1990 and September 1991, these were only available in red, black or white, this being one of those original examples (originally) in white.
The exterior of this MX-5 has been painted to a good standard in an eye catching yellow/black. We have recently fully rebuild the engine with forged components, fitted a new clutch and installed and mapped an ME221 ECU. Currently running an extremely safe 220BHP, with the engine rebuild and further replaced parts this vehicle has recently had over £7000 spent on it, making it exceptional value for an MX-5 enthusiast.
